HS2CCC provides you with a head start in college by allowing you to take college credit courses while still completing your high school education. Jump-starting college can save you time and money, help you become familiar with college-level work, and give you a chance to explore career interests. CCC offers three options for high school students to earn college credit: Concurrent Enrollment, Dual Enrollment, and the Coconino Association for Vocations, Industry and Technology (CAVIAT). You can transfer general education classes to fulfill your lower-division general education requirements for an associate degree. Then, you can transfer those credits to complete your bachelor's degree or get ahead in your career certification.

Do my grades go on my college transcript?
Courses taken through any of the HS2CCC programs count as regular college courses. Grades will go on your permanent college transcript.

It is important for students to make informed and wise self-placement decisions. Inappropriate decisions about self-placement may affect the time it takes you to complete your certificate or degree, and may impact your ability to receive financial aid and/or scholarships. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to discuss course options and determining proper self-placement into classes. For more information, visit our Academic Advising page.
You can use the Self-Placement Grid to determine recommendations for which Math/English courses to take based on a combination of your high school grades and GPA, ACT/SAT test scores, ACCUPLACER test scores, and GED scores. Please talk with your high school counselor about appropriate course placement.
How many credits can I earn?
There is no limit on the number of credits you can earn through HS2CCC during your time in high school. However, there is a cap of 8 credits per semester that you can earn as a concurrent student. If you would like to earn more than 8 credits as a concurrent student in a semester, you would need CCC Registrar approval.

How do Dual Enrollment credits transfer?
Most of the courses offered through Dual Enrollment are transferable to other colleges and universities within Arizona. You can check to see if your course is transferable by visiting AZTransfer . If you are planning to attend a college or university that is out of state, please consult with that college about how your credits will transfer.
How do I register for classes?
Registration for classes for Dual Enrollment is done through a CCC Admission Advisor upon a visit to your high school. Registration for CAVIAT courses is done through CAVIAT staff. Students interested in concurrent courses can register online at Registration at any of our campuses.
Who is eligible to take Dual Enrollment Courses?
Dual Enrollment courses are intended for high school juniors and seniors, who take precedence during the enrollment and registration process. Depending on space availability, courses may be opened up to freshman and sophomore students.
How much do Dual Enrollment courses cost?
Arts and Sciences (A&S) courses are $15 per credit hour. Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses receive a full tuition waiver.
