The story of Coconino Community College begins at the Fourth Street campus.

When the College first opened its doors in August 1991, more than 1,000 people lined up outside the building to begin fulfilling their educational dreams. The campus is nestled near the top of Fourth Street, a short walk from the Sunnyside and Greenlaw neighborhoods.

Since the College’s opening, and with the Lone Tree campus coming online, the Fourth Street campus now specializes in CCC’s Career and Technical Education mission, which is designed to help Coconino County residents find the degree or certificates they need to enter the workforce on a pace that is right for them. Among the programs housed at the Fourth Street campus are:

  • Computer Information Systems
  • Allied Health
    • Nursing
    • Medical Assistant
  • Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedicine
  • Fire Science
  • Construction Technology Management
  • Business
  • Administration of Justice

Additionally, the Fourth Street campus is home to the Simulation Lab and the iLab. The SimLab offers Allied Health students real-world, health-related scenarios in a simulated hospital setting to practice their skills. The iLab offers a wide array of technology-related activites (3D printing, computer coding, networking, gaming, and more) to help students with technology certification.

Finally, the Fourth Street campus serves as the hub for the Construction Technology Management shop, which is currently slated to undergo renovation with the help of a $1 million grant from the Del E. Webb Foundation to help CCC meet the demand for skilled workers in the construction, welding, and Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) fields.
